POSITION: Long-Term Substitute Moderate Special Education Teacher
2025-2026 School Year
Shrewsbury Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a Long-Term Substitute Moderate Special Education Teacher for Shrewsbury High School. This position will begin on May 13, 2026 and will last through the last day of the school year in June.
The pay rate for this position is $280/day.
We are interested in candidates who are invested in the achievement, equity, and access of all learners in and beyond the classroom and have experience working in various models of special education (inclusion, co-taught, substantially separate).
Candidates with diverse racial, ethnic, cultural, religious, class, and/or gender background and experiences are strongly encouraged to apply.

Preferred:
•Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license in Moderate Special Education
•Strong knowledge of high school student needs and programming
