    Long-Term Substitute Special Education Teacher – Middle School

     

    Byron Public Schools is seeking a Long-Term Substitute Special Education Teacher at Byron Middle School. This position will begin on September 16, 2025, and end on October 28, 2025.

    Qualifications:

     
    • Current Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (required)

    • Proficient in due process requirements and paperwork

    • Ability to write comprehensive and individualized IEPs

    • Strong organizational and communication skills

    • Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and continuous improvement

    • Experience using a variety of instructional strategies

    • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively on both special education and general education teams

    • Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a student-centered approach

    • Growth mindset and adaptability to changing needs
