EWPS is seeking a highly qualified long-term substitute special education teacher to fill an immediate need at East Windsor Middle School (grades 5-8). This position services students with social/emotional/behavioral challenges in its Discovery Program. The candidate must know how to engage reluctant learners and hold students accountable for their learning, provide instruction and monitor progress on IEP goals/objectives, and manage/supervise paraprofessionals. Organizational skills and the ability to meet mandated timelines are a requirement.
Reports to: Building Administration for building issues
Special Ed Administration for program issues
Daily Rate: $298.98
Qualifications:
Must hold a BA Degree
CT (or reciprocal state) special ed teaching certification (preferred)
