Supports students by reinforcing personal, social, behavioral and academic learning goals. This may include assisting students with self-care tasks.
Assists with classroom management, providing students with needed positive behavioral supports.
Supports student participation in class activities.
Observes the actions of students.
Accepts field trips, before and after school assignments if available.
Maintains confidentiality of students at all times.
Qualifications:
Substitute Certificate – must have a minimum of 60 completed college credits or more – or be at least 20 years of age with 30 completed credits or more from an accredited institution of higher education and provide evidence of enrollment in an accredited college program.
