PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENT: The successful candidate will be required to complete fingerprinting through an approved fingerprinting vendor and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, within 48 hours of offer acceptance.
POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Learning Center Site Assistant to support the development and implementation of a variety of enrichment opportunities for elementary school students as part of the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant (21st CCLC). This is an exciting opportunity to support evidence-based academic programming and enrichment activities for students in our county outside of the traditional school day. The goal of the Learning Center Site Assistant is to provide support to the Site Lead with coordination and teaching a variety of enrichment programs that align with State Performance Measures pertaining to academics, essential skills, attendance and family engagement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Support Site Lead with daily operations such as coordinating and implementing enrichment programs and activities at the Learning Center
Support Site Lead with quantitative data including attendance, student demographics, academic assessments, and survey data.
Familiar with safety procedures/protocols and implements them at all times.
Participates in ongoing professional development.
Work with Site Lead to develop and provide curriculum and academic support to participants.
Provide support with the development of calendars and guidelines for programs.
Assists with special events as needed.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING: High School diploma or GED preferred
EXPERIENCE: Prior experience working with school-age children. Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office tools, and/or Google Suite. Strong collaboration skills with school community and center partners. Articulate communicator, detail-oriented, and strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
Familiarity with the Clear Creek Community and surrounding areas. Willingness to learn & think creatively.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The noise level is typical of a school district.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Frequent sitting, bending, reaching; stooping, squatting. Occasional lifting five (5) to twenty five (25) pounds.
