This full-time position plays a crucial role in supporting the educational environment by assisting teachers in delivering instruction, managing classroom activities, and providing personalized support to students. Responsibilities
- Assist teachers in preparing instructional materials and classroom activities.
- Support students with special needs, providing individualized attention and assistance.
- Monitor student progress and behavior, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
- Help implement lesson plans and adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and develop appropriate interventions.
- Supervise students during lunch, recess, and other non-classroom activities.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavior.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members regarding student needs and progress.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to school policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all educational regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
- Previous experience working with students in an educational setting is desirable.
