Elementary School Paraprofessionals: Elementary school paraprofessionals work with young children on foundational skills like reading and math, helping to manage classroom activities and providing one-on-one or small group support to ensure that each child gets the attention they need.
Middle School Paraprofessionals: In middle schools, paraprofessionals assist teachers with more complex subjects and may focus on helping students with specific needs, like supporting special education programs or students with behavioral challenges.
High School Paraprofessionals: High school paraprofessionals typically support academic subjects, help students stay on track for graduation, and may focus on job skills, life skills, or college preparation. They often assist in specialized programs and help ensure a safe, productive learning environment.
