  •   Description:  Multiple Paraprofessional positions within SESD (see listing below) to start on or after 10/22/2025 with a half hour unpaid lunch.  The location and details of each position are as follows:

    1. Full-time Paraprofessional at Delta-Peach Bottom Elementary School, working tentatively 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, 6.5 hours/day (FILLED),
    2. Full-time Paraprofessional at Stewartstown Elementary School, working tentatively 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, 6.5 hours/day
    3. Part-time Paraprofessional at Stewartstown Elementary School, working tentatively 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, 5.5 hours/day
    4. Full-time Paraprofessional, Emotional Support, tentatively working 8:00 am - 3:30 pm, 7.0 hours/day, and a Full-time Paraprofessional, tentatively working 8:15 am - 3:15 pm, 6.5 hours/day at Fawn Area Elementary School,
    5. Other positions that come open due to internal transfers of staff.
                     
    Salary Range:  Range III, beginning of range is $15.25 per hour, hourly wage will be determined based on experience.  The position works all 181 student days plus three additional staff development days and is paid for two holidays (Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day).  The full-time position offers medical, dental, vision, and life insurance as well as the PA School Employee Retirement System.  Eleven (11) paid sick days, three (3) paid personal days, and paid bereavement days are available each year for both positions.  

    Job Summary:  Provide academic support to students under the direction of the Administration and/or classroom teacher as well as offer a variety of clerical support as assigned by the administration. 

    Qualifications:  High school diploma or equivalent is required.  Must possess positive communication skills, organization skills and the ability to work with students and staff.  Paraprofessionals are required to complete the process to be deemed "Highly Qualified" or have at least the number of college credits that equates to an associate degree.

If these clearances are not done prior to applying then applicants will need to supply these if offered employment.
