Key Responsibilities
Provide direct support to students individually or in small groups to reinforce instructional goals and accommodations.
Assist with implementing IEP goals, behavior plans, and classroom routines.
Support students in developing social, emotional, and self-regulation skills.
Collaborate closely with special education teachers, general education teachers, and support staff to ensure consistent, aligned support for students.
Supervise students in classroom, hallway, lunch, playground, and other settings as assigned.
Collect observational data as directed to support progress monitoring.
Help maintain a positive, structured, and predictable classroom environment.
Support safe student transitions and mobility needs throughout the school day.
Communicate professionally with staff, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned to support student learning and well-being.
