Qualifications:  Missouri Teaching certificate or Sixty credit hours preferred in the area of education.

Salary:  Approximately 25 hours per week at $30.00 per hour.  

Position Summary:  The job of the Title 1 Paraprofessional was established for the purpose(s) of working with individual and/or small groups of students under the guidance of a certificated teacher in the supervision and instruction of students; and assisting students by modeling the necessary skills to perform assignments.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:  Other duties may be assigned.

• Instructs elementary students in the areas of math, reading and writing.
• Develops and delivers lesson plans appropriate to the needs and abilities of assigned students with various language levels.
• Uses a variety of instructional techniques to support students appropriate for the age and language level of students.
• Maintains thorough anecdotal notes for assigned students.
• Collects data to share with classroom teachers and other instructional staff.
• Attend team meetings as required.
• Provide the high quality instruction time needed to move students to language and/or grade level proficiency.
• Provide and support students with social emotional learning needs.
• Support grade level teachers with high quality instruction and engagement.
• Perform related duties and responsibilities as requested by the principal.
