Position Purpose
Supporting students with toileting and feeding needs; supporting instruction and implementing programs/lesson plans created by the Special Education Teacher; escorting students to and from pick up/drop off locations during arrival and dismissal; supporting and implementing behavior plans as directed by BCBA and/or classroom teacher.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required with associates degree or higher preferred
- Experience working with children/students
- Experience assisting in program implementation
- Ability to work with professional staff
- Outstanding preparation and/or experience may be substituted for some of the above qualifications.
Additional Duties:
- Support students with disabilities in inclusive and substantially separate settings
- Needs to assist with a behavior plan implementation
