Position Details:
Salary Range: Starting at $20 per hour plus benefits for full time employees – guaranteed hours.
Location: St. Augustine, FL - The Arc of the St. Johns, Therapeutic Learning Center
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement treatment program and protocols created by the supervising BCBA - Organize and update program supplies, monitor client behavior and skills, and maintain accurate data records.
• Provide one on one therapy sessions working closely with individuals impacted by autism spectrum disorder and related developmental disorders in various settings, including schools, homes, and community locations.
• Data collection, analysis, collaboration, and documentation
• Adhere to HIPPA regulations with handling sensitive client information
• Assist with activities of daily living including personal hygiene and mealtimes.
• Collaborate with Speech Therapist, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Education Staff, and others as required.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and team members to provide insight into specific client programs and treatment protocols.
• Participate in monthly team meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of the job.

• Professionalism - Must have the ability to keep a positive affect, demonstrate a high level of professionalism, and remain calm and composed in high-stress situations with clients in various settings.
• Reliability - Demonstrate reliability in attending scheduled sessions and maintain consistency.
• Ideal for candidates seeking BCBA certification supervision hours or training in Applied Behavior Analysis.
• Excellent experience for those aspiring to become Behavior Analysts, Special Education Teachers, Educators, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, or Social Workers.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies. Will train.
• Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral health is preferred.
• Must be physically able to perform the job functions and other duties as assigned.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong interpersonal skills and compassion for building rapport with clients and their families
• High School diploma required, preferably with a bachelor's degree or higher in psychology, education, social work, or related field.
• Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, specifically autism spectrum disorders, in homes, schools, and community settings.
• Reliable means of transportation, some travel to case locations required.
• Required to pass a Level Two background check
