Secondary Paraprofessional

Position Description  
The position is to assist secondary students with special education needs and IEPs; academic and/or social emotional needs.  The special education paraprofessional will assist students with IEPs in the general education setting or in an extended resource room classroom.  At times, the paraprofessional will assist with additional school supervision duties such as monitoring students in the hallway and/or lunchroom.

Qualifications  
Required Education Requirements:  
High School Diploma  

Preferred Education Requirements:  
Associate Degree or Higher

Preferred Qualifications: 
Experience with secondary aged students and/or special needs students
