Special Education Paraprofessional

Fair Grove R-X School District is currently taking applications for a special education paraprofessional.  This position requires employees to work when school is in session and an additional three Mondays for professional development.  The specific grade level/building is to be determined based on the applicant's experience and the district's needs (Preschool-High School). Candidates must have a substitute certification or be willing and able to obtain certification before the first day of employment.

The paraprofessional must have good communication skills, the ability to work well with children, faculty, and parents in a diplomatic, friendly, and efficient manner.  The job WILL require the applicant to ride the bus either before or afterschool on a rotating basis.  Typical hours are 7:30AM until 4:00PM.  Morning bus routes leave at approximately 6:00 AM.  Afternoon bus routes return at approximately 5:00 PM.
