Special Education Teacher

Special Education teacher. Westwood Elementary - start 2026-2027 School Year, 2 full-time, regular positions
Current Wisconsin DPI certification to teach special education at the elementary level.

The focus of this position is to deliver instruction regarding functional and behavioral academics, social skill development and daily living skills. The candidate will have knowledge of differentiated instruction, strong reading instruction, Wisconsin Alternate Academic Achievement Standards (essential elements), positive behavioral interventions, and the development and implementation of individual education programs.  

Thrives in a collaborative environment and successfully co-delivers instruction alongside peers. They must also have good organizational skills, have experience working with a diverse population of students and be a creative problem solver.
