Classroom Setting: 12:1:1 Therapeutic Support Program

FOX Staffing Network is partnering with a school program in Westchester County, NY seeking a Special Education Teacher certified in ELA (7–9) to support high school students in a 12:1:1 therapeutic classroom environment.

This role focuses on supporting students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of educators and therapists.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and individual student needs

• Provide instruction in a 12:1:1 therapeutic support classroom

• Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment that promotes student success

• Collaborate with speech therapists, behavioral specialists, and related service providers

• Implement behavioral strategies that support students’ social-emotional development

• Adapt instructional materials for diverse learning styles and abilities

• Track student progress and maintain documentation related to IEP goals and behavioral plans​

• New York State Special Education Certification (7–9) with ELA certification required
