Connecticut Education Center, part of the Positive Regard Network, invites applicants for anticipated openings in East Hartford for the following positions, with an anticipated start date of Fall 2025
TEMPORARY TEACHER HIRING BONUS FOR CT LICENSED LICENSED TEACHERS, for new hires through August 31, 2025- As we seek to fill our open Teacher positions for the upcoming school year, we are offering a $1,000 hiring bonus for any teacher we hire with a special education or other relevant Connecticut Special Education or Teacher licensure. The hiring bonus would be paid via payroll, with $500 paid after orientation is completed, and then the other $500 paid after the completion of the six month introductory period.
Applicants must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; Master’s degree is strongly preferred. Connecticut Special Education Licensure required – Moderate or Severe Disabilities and experience working with children with special needs is strongly preferred. For general education positions, Connecticut Teacher licensure in that particular area required and experience working with children with special needs is strongly preferred.
Special Education Teacher: The Teacher will provide instruction and age/grade appropriate lesson plans, provide academic leadership in the classroom, provide clear documentation and data collection, and participate in professional development. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; a Master’s degree in special education is preferred. Qualified candidates will have Connecticut Special Education licensure.
