Summary
The Special Education Teacher at Garden Grove Elementary will be responsible for providing instruction and support to students with special needs. This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic and personal goals.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide instruction in a variety of subjects, including reading, writing, math, and social skills
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and materials to meet the needs of individual students
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure that students receive appropriate support and services
- Attend meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in special education
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and other stakeholders

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in special education or a related field
- Valid teaching credential with a special education endorsement
- Experience working with students with a variety of disabilities, including autism, learning disabilities, and emotional/behavioral disorders
- Knowledge of evidence-based instructional practices and strategies for supporting students with special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders
- Ability to maintain a positive and supportive learning environment for all students, while also holding them to high expectations for academic and personal growth.
