Position Title: Special Education Teacher
Hours/Shift: Hours may vary by grade level/campus – 40 hours per week
Pay: $45/hr+ (Based on Experience) – Travel Pay Packages Available
Job Description/Role Responsibilities:
SPED Teacher (Inclusion):
Responsibilities: Teachers will be required to prep and facilitate ARD meetings, document services weekly, and engage in lesson planning. The students that contract teachers will serve are those in the general education classes with special education supports/services from grades K-5. Supported grade levels are divided amongst teachers at the campus level.
SPED Teacher (Self-contained):
Responsibilities: Teachers will be required to prep and facilitate ARD meetings, document services weekly, and engage in lesson planning. The students that contract teachers will serve are those in the self-contained setting, similar to LIFE Skills, spanning grades K-5 at the Academy and grades 6-10 at the College Prep level.
Qualifications:
Must:
-Texas Teaching License
-Special Education Endorsement
Plus:
-1+ Year of Special Education Teaching Experience
