Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individuals to fill anticipated position as a Special Education Teacher with Cinnaminson Township Schools. These are tenure-track positions that will require the candidate to work closely with students, teachers, and parents to ensure the delivery of high-quality education services in all subjects. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a passion for working with students with special needs.

Responsibilities:

- Provide individual and group instruction to students with special needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other special education staff to ensure students receive appropriate support
- Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress
- Attend IEP meetings and other meetings related to student progress and services
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student progress and services
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices and trends in special education

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
- NJ teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working with students with special needs
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
