Special Education Teacher

1.0 Special Education Teacher needed at Mathewson Elementary School.  This position will be available August 24, 2026

The teacher will provide specialized instruction, develop, implement and monitor student progress based on goals and objectives per IEP. They will evaluate, analyze and report findings. The teacher will provide daily social skills instruction, facilitate PPTs, data collection, behavior management and case manage students. They will collaborate with all team members.

Experience with learners with ASD preferred 

Current CT Special Education certification (165 or 065) required.

Salary and benefits per contract.
