Design and implement individualized and group instruction aligned to students’ IEP goals focused on functional academics, communication, social skills, and daily living skills
Provide a structured, predictable, and positive classroom environment to support student learning and behavioral needs
Collaborate with related service providers (OT, PT, Speech, BCBA), general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to support student progress
Monitor IEPs, complete progress reports, and participate in team meetings
Supervise and support paraprofessionals assigned to the program
Administer MCAS Alt Requirements if needed
Grading for Students is based on pass/fail
Utilize assistive technology and other accommodations to support student access and communication
Maintain accurate records and data collection to monitor progress and inform instruction
