Description:
The Meriden Public Schools seeks a full-time special education teacher for the 2025-2026 school year at Israel Putnam Elementary School.
Responsibilities of the special education teacher may include conducting individual assessments, writing IEPs, participating in PPTs, timely reporting of student progress, assisting in the development of FBA/BIP, training and supervision of paraprofessionals, maintaining positive communication with parents, developing student schedules, or other related duties assigned by supervisor or principal.
Qualifications:
A valid Connecticut teacher certification with endorsement #065, #165 or #265 is required.
