The Special Education Teacher will primarily support grade 6 inclusion classes, as well as provide special education services in ELA, reading, and/or academic support, as needed.
Qualifications Required:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in education.
Experience: Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs. Ability to provide a range of accommodations, modifications, and specialized instruction to meet the individual needs of students with disabilities.
Other: Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) licensure in Special Education for grades 6-8
Qualifications Preferred:
Education: Master’s Degree in Special Education
Experience: Prior experience working with students with diverse learning needs in grades 6-8.
Other: SEI Endorsement
