Under the supervision of the Teacher, the duties of the Substitute Paraprofessional will vary, depending upon assignment but include and not limited to the following:
Fosters a safe and positive environment for all students and staff in accordance with SCEC policies
Supervises students both in- and out-of classroom settings
Follows professional practices consistent with SCEC policies in working with students, students’ records, parents/guardians, and colleagues, including maintaining the confidentiality of student and school personnel information
Completion of mandated SCEC professional trainings, including but not limited to Bullying Prevention, Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) and Ethics.
Performs other related duties as assigned by program administrator(s) in accordance with SCEC policies and practices.
