 Position Overview:
 
 We are looking for a passionate and innovative Special Education Teacher to join our dynamic team! If you are an experienced educator with a creative and flexible approach, we want to hear from you. In this role, you will build meaningful relationships with students and develop customized curricula to meet diverse learning needs. You’ll collaborate with an Education Counselor in a classroom of 6-8 students or co-teach in a classroom of 14. Your responsibilities will include:
 
 - Designing engaging lessons tailored to individual IEP goals and learning styles.
 - Implementing Project-Based Learning that caters to diverse needs.
 - Developing and presenting IEP goals at annual meetings.
 - Conducting ongoing assessments to inform instructional planning.
 - Utilizing Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) for effective classroom management.
 - Leading collaborative meetings to enhance student, classroom, and family engagement.
 - Maintaining regular communication with families about student progress.
 - Working with a multidisciplinary team to address additional support needs.

 Qualifications:
 
 - Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
 - Valid Special Education license (Moderate Disabilities 5-12).
 - Experience with neurodiverse students and transition-based curriculum preferred.
 - Valid driver’s license and willingness to undergo a background check and drug/alcohol testing prior to hire.
 - CPR and First Aid certification required (training provided upon hire).
