Special Education Teacher, Deaf/Hard of Hearing (DHH)
As a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing with Special School District (SSD), you will provide individualized instruction to support students in developing communication, academic, and social skills. Through your understanding of diverse learning needs and your commitment to inclusive practices, you will create a learning environment where students can access instruction, build confidence, and reach their full potential. Your work will help ensure that deaf or hard-of-hearing students are fully supported and engaged in their educational experience.
You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to design and implement individualized education programs, continuously monitor progress, and adjust instruction to meet each student’s needs. Working alongside educators, specialists, and families, you will help create consistent, meaningful learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom.
