Special Education Teacher

The Wellness Center: Yoga & Therapies is seeking Special Education Teachers to join our existing team of friendly psychologists, counselors, PTs, OTs, SLPs and other Special Education Teachers.  Join us at The Wellness Center: Yoga & Therapies as a Special Education teacher if you value a collaborative and supportive work environment with a positive culture!

This position is school based, working on site, in-person, in a charter or public school.  Positions are available across Arizona, and in the greater Phoenix area, including Phoenix Metro and the surrounding valley.  The Special Education Teacher would provide direct services and oversee their direct service caseload, engage in case management duties by scheduling and attending meetings, writing IEPs, progress monitoring and writing progress reports, with the possibility of being an active part of the MET process. 

The leadership team at The Wellness Center: Yoga & Therapies brings over 30 years of combined experience in school settings and is accessible for support and training, as necessary. In addition, members of our interdisciplinary team are experts in a variety of fields. Working with our large team of providers allows for many opportunities for mentorship, collaboration, and professional development growth.

We are looking for a Special Education Teacher who has a passion for teaching, values a collaborative and positive work setting, has knowledge of ADE compliance requirements and use of ADE Guide Steps.
