Responsibilities:<\/h2>
  • Assess students' skills and determine their educational needs<\/li>
  • Adapt general lessons to meet students' needs<\/li>
  • Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student<\/li>
  • Plan activities that are specific to each student's abilities<\/li>
  • Teach and mentor students as a class, in small groups, and one\-on\-one<\/li>
  • Implement IEPs, assess students' performance, and track their progress<\/li>
  • Update IEPs throughout the school year to reflect students' progress and goals<\/li>
  • Discuss students' progress with parents, other teachers, counselors, and administrators<\/li>
  • Prepare and help students transition from grade to grade and from school to life outside of school<\/li> <\/ul>

    Qualifications:<\/h2>
    • Highly qualified teacher with Special Education Certification<\/li>
    • Bachelor's degree in Special Education or similar<\/li>
    • IVP Fingerprint Clearance<\/li> <\/ul><\/td> <\/tr>
