Special Education Teacher (K-6)

Baden Academy, a K-6 arts and sciences integrated public charter school, is now accepting resumes for a Full Time K-6 Special Education Teacher. The Teacher is responsible for utilizing teaching strategies and methods that address a wide range of learning styles, individual needs, interests, abilities, and maturity levels of students. We are looking for someone with understanding and commitment to inclusive schooling and Special Ed Law.

Special Ed Certificate required. This position is salary exempt and is eligible for benefits the first of the month after hire. BACS pays in full for all benefits, any coverage level!

The Special Education Teacher will:

• Actively Instruct Students
• Develop and implement IEPs
• Maintain accurate Special Education Records
• Provide guidance and support for all students
• Teach/Remediate all levels of curriculum K-6
• Integrate arts into the curriculum being instructed

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid PA Teaching Certificate
• Certificate in Special Education
• All required clearances
• Negative TB test
