Special Education Teacher (LBD) - Zoneton Middle School 2026-2027

Zoneton Middle School is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Special Education Teacher who is passionate about supporting diverse learners and ensuring all students achieve at high levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned to grade-level standards and student needs
• Provide specially designed instruction in inclusive settings, including co-teaching, small group, and resource support
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure all students have access to rigorous, high-quality instruction
• Use data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction to maximize growth
• Create a structured, supportive classroom environment where students feel valued and empowered
• Promote student independence, self-advocacy, and respect for diversity
• Communicate consistently with families and team members to support student success
• Actively engage in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) focused on continuous improvement

This position is for the 2026-2027 school year. Salary based on board approved salary schedule for the 2026-2027 school year.
