    Pay Range:  $175 - $250 per day

    Position Summary: The Acton-Boxborough Regional School District, is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to work as a Lead Special Education Teacher, Long Term Sub
     
    Primary Job Responsibilities include:

    • Planning and implementing academic and behavioral programming for students in collaboration with other members of the team Recording and summarizing data
    • Conducting comprehensive student evaluations for three year evaluations and progress monitoring Progress reporting and IEP writing
    • Meeting regularly and consulting with team members Coordinating therapies (OT, PT, Speech and Language) Modifying general education curriculum/expectations to meet student's needs and skill level to insure successful inclusion experiences
    • Actively providing training, supervision and feedback to program staff
    • Working closely with all team members and building staff and administration.
    • Communicating with families and home service providers


    Qualifications include: 

    • Masters degree
    • Massachusetts DESE License as Moderate or Severe Special Needs License with Autism Endorsement
    • BCBA strongly preferred
    • Autism Endorsement
    • Experience with children with Autism is required Must be the kind of person who is warm, caring, respectful and have a strong desire to work with elementary age children Familiarity and training with the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis required
