As a SETSS provider with Knowledge Road, you'll deliver individualized and small-group instruction in school settings, collaborating closely with families and school teams to support student advancement and academic growth.

Responsibilities:

As a Special Education Teacher (SETSS) with Knowledge Road, you will:

• Offer high-quality, individualized, and small-group instruction to students with disabilities, according to their Individualized Education Service Programs (IESP).

• Ensure fulfillment of each student's weekly IESP mandates and maintain an intervention schedule coordinated with the school timetable.

• Create and submit quarterly progress reports and maintain bi-weekly family communication with clear updates on progress and upcoming steps.

• Record service delivery and student performance in Knowledge Road's system with accurate and timely documentation.

• Develop and execute engaging and effective lesson plans that address the specific academic, social, and emotional needs of each student.

• Work with parents, teachers, and other school staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for your students.

• Monitor and assess student progress, offering regular updates to families and school-based teams.

• Participate in IESP meetings as needed, offering expert insights and recommendations to promote student success.

Qualifications:

• NYS Students with Disabilities (B-2, 1-6, 7-12, or All Grades) or NYS Literacy Specialist.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

• Must not have been employed by NYC DOE within the last 12 months.

• Experience teaching Math and ELA.

• Reliable transportation.

• NYC DOE fingerprinting status/approval is required, or a willingness to complete them before starting.

We are currently hiring candidates for full-time SETSS positions in Bronx.

Schedule & Location:

This is a full-time, school-day position with a schedule that follows the NYC DOE calendar. Services will be provided on site at a school in Bronx, with assignments based on student needs. Hours/week are based on IESP mandates; caseload may vary by assignment. Typically ~20-30 hours/week, depending on placements, with additional cases and hours available when coordinating with our recruitment team.

Compensation:

$60 - $100 per hour (1099). Rate differs by group size and assignment. Individual IESP sessions typically begin at $60/hr.
