Hutchinson Public Schools is seeking two Special Education Teachers at our West Elementary/Tiger Elementary buildings for the 2026-2027 school year and beyond.
These positions will work with students at West Elementary and Tiger Elementary. It is preferred that candidates hold an ABS, ASD or EBD licensure from the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) or contact the district for licensure options. The salary range for this position is $49,048.00 per year - $91,357.00 per year. Salary is dependent upon education and experience. These positions will work 183 days per year, 8 hours per day.

West Elementary is located on the west side of Hutchinson and serves students pre-K through 1st grade. Tiger Elementary School serves students in second and third grade. Our exceptional staff provides students with consistent, research-based instruction tailored to their unique needs. Grade-level teams collaborate with specialists in Music, Physical Education, STREAM, and Art, as well as Enrichment, Special Education, and Title 1, to create a well-rounded program for all levels of learners.
