    •   Description:
             Bellefonte Area School District is currently accepting applications for the position of Substitute Paraprofessional.

    Job Summary:
    • Aids student(s) in understanding subject matter while ensuring classroom routines are followed
    • Review and implement regular paraprofessional routines, procedures, plans, and objectives
    • Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
    • Provide instructional reinforcement for individual or small groups of students
    • Assist teacher with classroom management and general supervision of the students
    • Assist with administrative duties such as setting up technology and preparing materials
    • Address students' physical, personal, emotional, and academic needs
    • Perform other duties as directed by the classroom teacher adn administrative staff

    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or GED is required

    Required Clearances:
         Clearances MUST be for EMPLOYMENT. Volunteer clearances will NOT be accepted. Other Required Documents:
    • Heath Form (within 1 year)
    • TB Test (within 3 months) (Only step 1 required)
    • Act 168- Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release form
