Substitute Paraprofessional

Summary:
We are seeking a Substitute Paraprofessional to join our team on an as-needed basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to teachers and students in various classrooms and educational settings. The Substitute Paraprofessional will be expected to follow lesson plans and provide one-on-one support to students as needed.

Responsibilities:
- Follow lesson plans and provide support to teachers in the classroom
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management techniques
- Assist with preparing classroom materials and activities
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school staff
- Maintain confidentiality of student information and records
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Paraprofessional License https://roe17.org/licensure/paraprofessional-license-information-para
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and special education programs
- Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt to different classroom environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work on short notice and in different locations as needed
