Greenwich Public Schools seeks a Post-High School special education teacher for its 2026 Summer School program.
The Secondary Summer School will be located at Western Middle School from July 6 through August 13, Mondays through Thursdays. The post-high school special education teacher will work 9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m., which includes 30 minutes of planning time. An additional preparation day will occur, date to be determined.
The Post-High School special education teacher must be certified to teach special education (e.g., #113 or #165).
Compensation for all hours will be at the individual teacher's hourly per diem rate as based on the Agreement between the Greenwich Board of Education and the Greenwich Education Association.
Position is dependent on student enrollment.
Preference will be given to Greenwich Public Schools teachers contracted for the 2026-27 school year, and then to other Greenwich Public Schools benefits-eligible employees.
