Temporary Full-Time Paraprofessional (Life Skills Support)
Location: East Derry Elementary School
The Mifflin County School District in Lewistown, PA is seeking to fill a temporary full-time Paraprofessional position, primarily working in the Life Skills Support classroom, for East Derry Elementary School.
This is a temporary full-time position working 7 hours per day, 180 days/9 months per year. The position has an end date of 05/29/2026.
Job Summary: A Paraprofessional performs and is responsible for assisting students with academic and individual care needs. Duties range from instructional to physical activities, which may include toileting, feeding, and specific medical needs. The Paraprofessional works with individuals and small groups of students receiving special education services under the direction of the teacher(s) in general and special education classroom settings.
