Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a 1:1 Paraprofessional. This full-time position involves supporting teachers and students in a variety of educational settings. The ideal candidate will assist in the delivery of instructional materials, provide individualized support to students, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment. This role is essential in ensuring that all students have access to quality education and the resources they need to succeed.

Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in preparing and implementing lesson plans and instructional materials.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, reinforcing concepts taught in the classroom.
- Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
- Assist with classroom management and discipline, promoting positive behavior.
- Collaborate with teachers and specialists to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Support students during activities, including lunch, recess, and field trips.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior as required.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in education and child development.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervising teacher or school administration.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate's degree or higher in education or a related field is preferred.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with educational technology.
- Must pass background checks and any required certifications.

Knowledge & Skills:
- Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs of students.
- Knowledge of special education practices and IEP processes is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and take initiative when necessary.

Hours:
Elementary: 8:35am-4:05pm
Middle School: 7:20am-2:50am
High School: 7:20am-2:50pm

Pay Rate: $20.29/hr
