Rate of Pay: $23.03 to $28.92 p/hour depending on experience and assignment

EDUCATIONAL SERVICE CENTER OF CENTRAL OHIO
Title: PARAPROFESSIONAL (Full-Time)
Reports to: Assigned Coordinator of Special Education and Teacher
Job Objectives: Performs a variety of classroom support, behavioral, and student personal care services as directed under the supervision of an assigned teacher.

Note: Appointment requires successful completion and periodic renewal of state mandated and service center training requirements (e.g., communicable disease, child abuse, CPR, first aid, and/or behavioral management training).
Preschool assignment requirements: accumulation of forty-five hours of in-service training (in fifteen hour annual increments). Five hours annual in-service thereafter.
Note: This assignment may require a valid driver’s license, access/availability of a reliable vehicle, and/or completion of van driver training. Employees must meet all prerequisite and ongoing qualifications to be covered by the service center’s insurance carrier.
