Job Summary: Under the direction of qualified professionals, the special education paraprofessional will assist with the implementation of accommodations, modifications, and other supports in accordance with Individual Education Plans. The paraprofessional will act as an Executive Functioning and Behavioral Coach, and increase independence by teaching students time management, organizational, and work completion skills, and copying skills. The candidate will also be responsible for collecting progress data pertaining to assigned students as directed by the special education teacher.
Salary and Benefits: Pay and benefits in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Unit of AFSCME, 6.5 hours per day, with a starting wage of $18.00 per hour.
