Windham High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will provide direct instruction, case management, and support to students with a range of disabilities in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Job Summary:
Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum, support accommodations, and ensure access to the general education environment.
Provide behavioral support and implement behavior intervention plans as needed.
Participate in IEP team meetings, evaluations, and parent conferences.
Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and services provided.
Use data to inform instruction and adjust interventions as needed.
Foster a safe, supportive, and respectful learning environment for all students.
Maintain communication with families, support staff, and related service providers.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
Valid New Hampshire Department of Education certification in Special Education required or ability to obtain NH DOE certification in General Special Education.
Salary and Benefits: According to the WEA Collective Bargaining Agreement
