Position Length: As needed following the Academic Calendar
Pay rate: $16.96 per hour
Substitute Instructional Aides needed to work in a regional special education program with students of all grade levels who present with emotional and behavioral difficulties, as well as preschool and elementary aged children with Autism and other Pervasive Developmental Disabilities. We provide a creative K-12 instruction program in a highly structured and supportive atmosphere. Work with well-trained teams in a positive teaching environment. Good experience for future psychologists, social workers and special education teachers.
Qualifications: Candidates must have a high school diploma/GED equivalent. Candidates with two or more years experience as a paraprofessional in a public school setting and/or an associate degree are preferred. See attached job description.
