TITLE I PARAPROFESSIONAL

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Passion for collaborating with young learners.
• Associate degree or equivalent (60 College Credits)
• Demonstrated success as a collaborator and team player. 
• Proficiency in math and reading.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with an enthusiastic, passionate, and caring MTSS academic team. 
• Establish a safe and positive learning environment while working with students from grades two through five in a small group setting.
• Deliver intended reading and math intervention curriculum with fidelity.
• Be an active participant in professional development activities and open to learning and trying new things. 
• Assist in conducting assessments and progress monitoring of student instructional levels.
• Assist with lesson planning, organization, and record keeping.
• Maintain student records.
• Work in collaboration with classroom teachers, instructional coordinator, and other instructional aides.
• Supervise students when necessary.
• Maintain confidentiality of students and staff.
• Conduct self in a positive, professional manner at all times.
• Must be flexible and willing to complete other duties as assigned by principal or instructional coordinator.

HOURS/LENGTH OF CONTRACT: Monday – Friday (6 hours/day)

SALARY / BENEFITS: According to Haslett Educational Paraprofessional Agreement
